Challenge

Hikari needed a funding-ready brand and a tangible product story—fast. The mandate: craft a luxury identity, build an investor-friendly deck and web demo, and prove an automated reservation experience under tight deadlines.

Direction

We positioned Hikari as modern luxury—warm minimalism in deep indigo with coral accents, a wave-inspired mark, and koi linework that nods to craft without cliché. Art direction leans cinematic and intimate (moody, low-light photography, tactile materials) so every touchpoint—menus, packaging, signage—feels premium and photographs beautifully. Digitally, the story leads to action: a story-first site with a persistent “Book” CTA and teaser content templates for pre-launch buzz.

Most importantly, we didn’t just show screens—we proved the operation with a working reservation prototype: a conversational bot that answers FAQs, surfaces availability, and manages a waitlist with SMS, designed to hand off to Google Reserve.

The strategy reduces friction, signals quality, and gives investors proof of execution, not promises.

Branding & Visual System

A signature wave-inspired mark, gold-foil packaging accents, and mood-lit photography to signal premium omakase. Guideline set covered typography, color, layout rules, and collateral templates. Mini-gallery suggestions: logo grid, foil packaging, menu/box system, photography plates.

Web & Digital

A fast Squarespace demo tailored for investor walkthroughs (sections: story, menu, experience, booking). Optimized for quick edits and future migration. Integrations: Google Reserve preview + analytics setup.

Content for Pitch & Launch

Investor deck visuals, 3D render portal references, and Instagram-ready templates to tease opening.

AI & Automation

Booking chatbot trained on FAQs; demo handled inquiries 24/7, managed waitlist, and triggered SMS updates. Built to hand off to Google Reserve. Mini-gallery suggestions: conversation flow, bot UI, waitlist SMS.
